Britteny's love and knowledge was the inspiration of the BOOK, "A Road to Rescue: Understanding Love & Fear" Please go to www.roadtorescue.com for information on this book. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to the Britteny Sage Lindt Fund.

Britteny Sage Lindt was born to Tim & Kari Lindt in 1991 in Phoenix, AZ. She was a gift from heaven, as Kari had lost her first daughter 7 years earlier, after living for only one week. Britteny had a near drowning accident at the age of two. Tim and Kari protected her from all elements for years, but Britteny was such a free spirit, so independent. All they wanted was for her to be happy, and they had to let her live her life, even though they were in constant fear of another tragedy. They prayed daily for their beautiful, happy, loving daughter to be safe.

Britteny was wise beyond her years. She loved and respected everyone. They had to share her with the world. Even though the family moved, with work, on a regular basis, Britteny’s beautiful blue eyes, and loving smile, along with her wit and generous personality made her many new friends in every town. She was so full of confidence. At 7 years old they lived in Denver CO., and she was a Jr. Denver Broncos cheerleader, performing in front of 75,000 fans. She was her own person and did not concern herself with peer pressure and what others thought. She was a true leader.

In 2001 the family moved to Texas. Britteny flourished in the great community of Highland Village. She played Volleyball for several years, and most recently made the Marcus High School Cheerleading squad. She had such a bright future that was taken away in seconds by an alleged drunk/reckless driver.

No one ever realized how many life's she touched, until it was too late. Over 1,000 people were there for her funeral services. To be 15 years old and touch that many lives is an accomplishment most people never achieve in a lifetime.

She was such a special person. In her words," I am not any better than anyone else. Everyone is special.” This is the code that she lived by.

Please help the Lindt family to make changes in the inadequate boating laws, and raise awareness to the huge national problem that exists with drunk driving of all motorized vehicles.
